I’m back! It has been a long two months. As you know, I have written about hitting the doors getting signatures… about how time consuming and frustrating petitions can be… about the struggle with the weather (there has been lots of rain).
Well, all deadlines have come and gone. I obtained all the signatures I needed to qualify as a candidate for the Democrat, Independence & Working family ballots Tuesday, November 5th, the General Election ballot.
You will also see me on the Independence primary ballot, Thursday, September 10th for Town Council. There will be primaries this year for Town Council, Supervisor & the Town Justice races. Judge candidates have the ability to run on all lines, so I believe there will be primaries on all lines for the town Justice. I am pulling for my running mate and good friend, Judge Sybil Kennedy!
I think you will be surprised this year with the choices out there. Get educated and get to know the candidates. Go to Voter-ed.com, many of the candidates running will be on Jeff Halpin & Tom Knight's new website to inform citizens of who is running and what they stand for. Take a look at my running mates, Nathan McMurray for Town Supervisor and Cyndy Montana for Town Council. This year you have a choice!
