Youth Ambassador Hot Dog Sale. This sales benefits the Chamber Youth Ambassador Program. The you Ambassadors is a mentoring program that G.I. high school students compete for. It also includes a scholarship. All funds from the sale goes to program. Our local police officers and elected officials along with community leaders come out and cook for the kids. We have a great time.

It was such a thrill to be honored by my fellow chamber directors.
This was my very first award for anything and what an honor to be recognized by women I hold in such high esteem.
This is one of the best things that has happened on Grand Island. All Grand Islander's should be proud of what has been accomplished with the baseball field for the kids at Veteran's Park.
Installation of officiers, I currently serve as Secretary.
The Light Up the Boulevard parade was the vision of Chair, Fran McMahon. Any time Fran comes up with an idea we all know it will be great for Grand Island and we all climb on board! The parade is so much fun and kicks off the holiday season. I am happy to be one of Frans Committee helpers. Thanks Fran for all you do!
It's more than just a parade. Santa is in Town Hall meeting all the kids and there is hot chocolate and goodies too.
No Citizen of the Year Award event is complete without the VFW Color Guard to present the colors and lead the pledge. These are a great bunch of guys. They take such pride in what they do and what they represent. Can't say enough about our veterans, they deserve so much more than they get. Support our Vets!
